Networking Information
Protocols
The TCP/IP protocol and SNMP service are automatically installed. The
Compaq Management Agents for Servers require the TCP/IP protocol and
SNMP service to communicate with Compaq Insight Manager and
Compaq Insight Manager XE. To disable the SNMP service, refer to the
operating system documentation. Windows 2000 requires TCP/IP to be
enabled.

2. Click Control Panel, then double-click Network.
3. Double-click Dial-up Connections, then Make a New Connection.
4. Select the appropriate network connection type and complete the rest of
the setup as prompted.
Refer to the operating system documentation for more information on required
networking parameters.
