Gathering Information
Refer to the operating system documentation provided with the server for
details on information required during the software installation.
Refer to the Compaq ProLiant CL380 User Guide for complete hardware
installation information.
Certificate of Authenticity
The Certificate of Authenticity (COA) label is located on the back of the
server or inside one of the server’s removable access panels. The 25-character
Product Key located on the COA label will be required if the server operating
system should need to be reinstalled at a later time.

NOTE: The Product Key is not needed during the initial operating system installation
because the server comes from the factory with a Product Key already installed.
