Found New Hardware
During the operating system installation, the Found New Hardware Wizard
may display. Do not attempt to install the drivers until after the second logon,
when the operating system installation is complete. Click Cancel when the
Found New Hardware Wizard begins.
IMPORTANT: If the driver installation is attempted during the operating system
installation, the server may automatically reboot before the driver installation has
completed. This reboot could result in the incorrect installation of the device.
Complete the following steps to install drivers after the operating system
installation is complete:
1. Click Next at the Found New Hardware Wizard screen.
2. Select Search for a Suitable Driver for My Device, then click Next.
3. Check the box next to Specify a Location, and uncheck the boxes next
to Floppy Drive and CD-ROM, then click Next.
4. Type the following path in the text box, then click OK:
C:\CPQDRVRS
5. Click Next on the Driver Files Search Results screen.
6. Click Finish to complete the Found New Hardware Wizard.
Carefully follow the online prompts and make keyboard entries only when
prompted by the system. During the software installation, several status
screens display describing the process that is occurring.
