3. Close Disk Administrator and restart Windows NT.
4. At the Enterprise Edition Installer, install Microsoft Cluster Server
(MSCS). If the installation path points to anything other than the
C drive, manually replace it with the following path:
C:\DISK2\MSCS\CLUSTER\I386\SETUP.EXE
Refer to MSCS documentation for more information on installing
MSCS. The README file is located in the C:\DISK2\MSCS directory.
5. After installing MSCS, reapply the latest Service Pack, if applicable.
a. Click Start to display the Start menu, then click Run
b. Type the following path in the text box, then click OK.
C:\SPACKX\UPDATE\UPDATE.EXE
where X denotes the current or selected Service Pack version.
6. After rebooting the server, click Exit at the Enterprise Edition Installer
screen, then run the Compaq SSD to ensure that the Service Pack has
not overwritten the latest Compaq drivers.
a. Click Start to display the Start menu, then click Run.
b. Type the following path in the text box, then click OK.
C:\SSD\SETUP.EXE
The installation tasks for server node 1 are now complete. Be sure to leave
server node 1 powered up with Windows NT and Cluster Services running
while installing clustering on server node 2. This allows server node 2 to see
the pre-existing cluster.
