2. At the Enterprise Edition Installer, install MSCS. If the installation path
points to anything other than the C drive, replace it with the following
path:
C:\DISK2\MSCS\CLUSTER\I386\SETUP.EXE
Refer to MSCS documentation for more information on installing
MSCS. The README file is located in the C:\DISK2\MSCS directory.
3. After installing MSCS, reapply the latest Service Pack, if applicable.
a. Click Start to display the Start menu, then click Run.
b. Type the following path in the text box, then click OK.
C:\SPACKX\UPDATE\UPDATE.EXE
where X denotes the current or selected Service Pack version.
4. When rebooting the server, click Exit at the Enterprise Edition Installer
screen, and then run the Compaq SSD to ensure that the latest Compaq
drivers have not been overwritten by the Service Pack.
a. Click Start to display the Start menu, then click Run.
b. Type the following path in the text box, then click OK.
C:\SSD\SETUP.EXE
The cluster services installation is now complete for both server nodes.
Verifying Creation of the Cluster
After the software is installed, use the following steps to verify the creation of
the cluster:
1. Shut down and power down both server nodes.
2. Power down and then power up the shared storage area.
3. Power up both server nodes.
