Processors and Processor Power
Modules
For each processor installed, a Processor Power Module must be installed in
the corresponding slot. The procedure for installing processors and Processor
Power Modules is the same for slot 1 or 2 in either server node. Figure 4-46
shows the processor and Processor Power Module slot locations.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of personal injury from hot surfaces, allow the
internal system components to cool before touching them.
CAUTION: Electrostatic discharge can damage electronic components. Be sure
you are properly grounded before beginning any installation procedure.
