4 Copy and scan
You can produce high-quality color and black-and-white copies on a variety of paper types and sizes.
NOTE: For better copy quality, use color copy and avoid copying under direct sunlight or intense light.

Tips for copy and scan success
Copy
To copy documents
1. Make sure you have paper loaded in the input tray. For more information, see Load paper.
2. Place your original print-side down in the document feeder. For more information, see Load an original
in the document feeder.
3. From the printer control panel display, touch Copy.
4. Select Document.
5. Scroll left or right to select the number of copies.
TIP: To save these settings as defaults for future jobs, from the printer control panel display, touch
Copy, touch (Setup), and then touch Save Current Settings.
6. Touch Start Black or Start Color to start the copy job.

You can customize copy jobs using the various settings available from the printer control panel.
In the Copy menu, touch (Setup) and change the desired settings.
