1 Installing the D-Link DFE-500TX ProFAST 10/100 PCI Ethernet Adapter Connecting to a Windows NT 3.51 Server 7 Upon rebooting, Windows 95 will recognize a “D-Link DFE-500TX PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter (Rev B/C)”. Insert the D-Link DFE-500TX driver disk and click on “OK”. 8 During the Update Device Driver process, point to the appropriate file locations (i.e. drivers disk or Windows 95 CD) to install the necessary files.

9 Installing the D-Link DFE-500TX ProFAST Ethernet PCI Adapter Connecting to a Windows NT 3.51 Server 8 From the “Drop Down List”, scroll down and select “ Requires disk from manufacturer”, then click on “Continue”. 9 Set the path to “A:\” in the “Insert Disk” dialog box, and insert the D-Link driver disk. 10 Click “OK” at the “Install Driver” dialog box. 11 Select “D-Link DFE-500TX PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter (Rev B/C)” in the “Select OEM Option” dialog box, and click “OK”.

12 Installing the D-Link DFE-500TX ProFAST Ethernet PCI Adapter Connecting to a Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 Server 10 Make sure that the “D-Link PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter [NDIS2]” is selected in “Network Drivers”. 11 At the “Network Drivers” window, click on “Close”. 12 At “Network Setup” click on “OK”. 13 Specify your User Name, Workgroup Name, and Computer Name and hit Enter. 14 After files copy, click on “OK” to approve changes to the Autoexec.bat, Config.sys, and System.Ini files.

13 Installing the D-Link DFE-500TX ProFAST Ethernet PCI Adapter Connecting to a Novell NetWare 4.11 Server 10 Select option 6 “Highlight here and press to install” and press “Enter” to begin installation. 11 When the installation is finished, remove the D-Link driver disk from the floppy drive and press to restart the system. 12 You may login to a server from the DOS prompt or load Windows for Workgroup v3.
