Front fan 646813-001
The front fan sits against the front on the left side of the chassis.
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (
Preparation for Disassembly on page 206).
2. Remove the computer access panel (
Access Panel on page 207).
3. Disconnect the fan control cable from the red system board connector labeled CHFAN.
4. Lift the fan straight up and out of the chassis.
