Software Delivery
Software updates for HP commercial computers are available through the following
methods:
• HP Worldwide Web site and Download Facility (http://www.hp.com)
• HP System Recovery Restore DVD (ISO files included in HDD partition as part of
the HP Recovery Manager / Recovery Disk Creation application)
HP Worldwide Web site and download facility:
Individual drivers and utilities can be downloaded in the form of Softpaqs from the
HP Download Facility or from the Web site at
http://www8.hp.com/us/en/support-
drivers.html or www.hp.com (Support & Drivers Link in the upper right corner of the
page). Softpaqs provide a distribution method for driver and ROM updates and
product software enhancements.
HP System Recovery Restore DVD:
HP System Recovery Restore DVDs are provided with each HP desktop system as
ISO files located in a recovery partition on the Hard Drive (HDD). The ISO files can
be accessed with the HP Recovery Manager / Recovery Disk Creation application
to burn to DVD or to be moved to another safe location for later burning. The DVDs
provide an easy-to-use complete restore solution for preinstalled operating systems.
This restore solution allows users to return the operating system to near factory state.
