Component Description
In Linux, Select Computer > Control Center. In the left
pane, click System, and then click Power Management
in the right pane.
(2) Speakers (2) Produce sound.

Wireless button Turns the wireless feature on or off but does not establish a
wireless connection.

Volume mute button Mutes and restores speaker sound.
(5) Fingerprint reader (select models only) Allows a fingerprint logon instead of a password logon.

Component Description
(1) esc key (Windows only) Displays system information when pressed
in combination with the fn key.
(2) fn key Executes frequently used system functions when pressed in
combination with a function key, the num lk key, or the esc
key.
(3)
Operating system logo key Windows 8: Returns you to the Start screen from an open
app or the Windows desktop.
NOTE: Pressing the Windows button again will return you
to the previous screen.
Windows 7: Displays the Windows Start menu.
