4. Unplug the power cord from the AC outlet.
5. Turn the computer upside down on a flat surface with the front of the computer toward you.
6. Remove the battery (See
Inserting or removing the battery on page 32.)
7. Remove the service cover (see
Removing or replacing the service cover on page 39).
8. Remove the 4 hard drive screws from the hard drive.
9. Pull the hard drive tab (1) towards the side of the computer to disconnect the hard drive.
