Specifications

Remove the battery:
1. Turn the computer upside down on a flat surface.
2. Slide the battery release latch (1) to release the battery.
3. Pivot the front edge of the battery (2) up and back.
4. Remove the battery (3) from the computer.
To insert the battery:
1. Align the tabs on the rear edge of the battery (1) with the notches on the rear edge of the battery
bay.
2. Pivot the front edge of the battery (2) down into the battery bay until it is fully seated. (The
battery release latch will automatically lock into place.)

Before removing the service door, follow these steps:
1. Shut down the computer.
2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.
3. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet
and then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.
