Specifications

Remove the service door:
1. Slide the battery release latch (1) to release the service door.
2. Slide the service door (2) toward the front of the computer.
3. Lift up and remove the service door (3).
Reverse this procedure to replace the service door.
Hard drive
NOTE: The hard drive spare part kit does not include the hard drive rubber bracket, 2 hard drive
retention brackets, hard drive connector cable, or screws. These components are included in
the Hard Drive Hardware Kit, spare part number 676647-001.

Before removing the hard drive, follow these steps:
1. Shut down the computer.
2. Disconnect the power from the computer by unplugging the power cord from the computer.
3. Disconnect all external devices from the computer.
