Two-nger pinch zoom
Use the two-nger pinch zoom to zoom out or in on images or text.
Zoom out by placing two ngers apart on the screen and then moving your ngers together.
Zoom in by placing two ngers together on the screen and then moving your ngers apart.
One-nger
slide
Use the one-nger slide to pan or scroll through lists and pages, or to move an object.
To scroll across the screen, lightly slide one nger across the screen in the direction you want to move.
To move an object, press and hold your nger on an object, and then drag your nger to move the object.
Using one-nger slide on an optional lap dock
Your device can be used as a TouchPad with an optional lap dock.
1. Connect your device to the lap dock.
2. Swipe left from the right edge of the Start screen to display all apps, and then tap Continuum.
After you connect, you can use the one nger-slide on your device as a Touchpad for the lap dock.
Using an optional keyboard and optional mouse
A keyboard and mouse allow you to type, select items, scroll and to perform the same functions as you do
using touch gestures. A keyboard also allows you to use action keys and key combinations to perform specic
functions.

NOTE: Depending on the country or region, your keyboard may have dierent keys and keyboard functions
than those discussed in this section.
