Administration Manual

To configure DWA Extension, follow these steps:
1. Verifythefileinstallation.
On each Domino server where messages are retrieved from the IAP (including the proxy, if used):
A re plica of the API da tabase should be installed using the following file path:
hprim\hp_rissapi.nsf.
This database is used to support the lookup operations that are performed when a user
clicks a tombstone URL in DW A.
AuniqueinstanceoftheDWAIndexdatabaseshouldbeinstalledusingthefollowingfile
path: hprim\hp_dwaindex.nsf.
This database contains the software to accept and process requests to retrieve archived
messages from the IAP and return them to the request user’s browser.
If your installation has been upgraded from a pre-2.0 version of EAs Domino: A replica of
the HP EAs-D Server Requests database should be installed using the following file path:
hprim\hp_rissreq.nsf.
The HP EAs-D Server Requests database is used to convert pre-EAs Domino 2.0 tombstoned
messages to the Rich Text form a t required by DWA Extension.
2. If a proxy server is used, ensure the following settings are configured on the proxy:
A trust relationship is established with the mail servers tha t the proxy is ser vicing.
SSL is configured to service encrypted message requests.
Domino single sign-on is configured with the m ail ser ver(s) to avoid users being prompted
to authenticate.
3. On ea ch ser ver where the DWA Index database is installed, verify the EASWEB agent security
settings in the database.
Ensure the Run on behalf of security setting in the a gent is set to a Notes ID that is listed in the Server
document’s Security > Programmability Restrictions > Run restricted LotusScript/Java agents field. HP
recommends specifying the server on which the a gent will run.
4. Ensure the ACL is set as follows:
In the DWA Index database, each Notes ID that is used in step 3 must have Editor access.
This Notes ID, with Editor access, should a lso be listed in the mail file ACL of all DWA users.
In the HP EAs-D API database, DWA users require Reader access. Each Notes ID used in
step3mustbelisted,withReaderaccess. Note:IftheNotesIDisthesameastheServer
ID, the ID should have Manager access with d elete rights.
If the HP EAs-D Server Requests database is used, the LocalDomainAdmins (or s ubstitute)
should have Mana ger access with delete rights.
5. (Optional) Configure a Proxy Gateway document.
This document allows the message retrieval process to be executed on an alterna te server in the
domain.

6. (Optional) If you are using proxy servers to retrieve messages, create a new Server Definition
document for the Proxy G a teway(s).
See Configuring the Server D efinition docu ment on page 27.
7. In the Server Definition d o cument, create a temporary work area for unencapsulating signed and
encryptedmessagesthatareretrievedfromtheIAP.
This work area must be configured whether or not you use a Proxy Gateway.
