Configuring the Tombstone Prototype document
A Tombstone Prototype document must be configured for tom bstoned messages to be retrieved in DWA. It
mustalsobeconfiguredifusersaccessmessagesinbothDWAandtheNotesclient.
The prototype document includes a Rich Text field with a Computed Text element. The element contains a
Formula Language function that is used to generate the link used during DWA tombstone retrieval.
The clickab
le link message that is created in the document replaces or appends the message
body, depen
ding on the tombstone action specified in the Tom bstone Settings tab. (See
“Editing the Tombstone Settings tab” on page 53). The link’s URL is controlled by this document and the
Proxy Gateway document (when used) and inserted into the message by the Tombstone agent.

c below shows how a tombstoned message appears to DWA users.
When the link is clicked, the retrieved message is displayed. It appe ars in a separate window or tab
depending on the browser.
