Solution
The printer is ready and waiting for you to identify yourself. Authenticate using either your badge or your smart card.
Invalid ID, X tries left
Cause
Solution
The supplied ID (PIN code, badge, smartcard, login/password)
is not valid. You have X tries left before the printer disables the
user login activity for a certain amount of time (defined by the
administrator). After this locked period, the authentication
returns to its normal state.
Use a valid ID.
Invalid badge
Cause
Solution
The configuration of the badge authentication is not correct for
your type of badge.
Please contact your system administrator.
Locked for X s
Cause
Solution
The user has supplied too many wrong IDs in a row and the
system locked up the login procedure to prevent the scanning
of ID codes.
Please wait until the locked login time is over (the delay is
defined by the administrator) and provide a valid ID.
HP Access Control initializing. Please try later
Cause
Solution
HP Access Control Secure Printing is starting after the printer
boot and the printer/MFP is not yet running.
Please wait a few minutes until the printer is ready. If there is
still an error message, please contact your system
administrator.
ID update in progress. Try Later

Solution
A users list is currently being uploaded to the printer. Please wait for the list upload to be completed and try again.
