3. Remove the following screws that secure the base enclosure to the computer:
(1) Two Torx T8 screws in the optical drive bay
(2) Three Torx T8 screws in the battery bay
(3) Two Phillips screws
4. Remove the memory card (4).
5. Turn the computer right side up with the front toward you.
6. Lift the front edge of the base enclosure until the left and right sides and the rear edge detach from the
computer.
7. Disconnect the serial connector cable from the system board.
8. Remove the base enclosure, making sure that the display panel cables and the wireless antenna cables
route through the openings in the base enclosure.
Reverse this procedure to install the base enclosure.
