Prepare the computer for disassembly (

Remove the access panel (
Access Panel on page 38)
3.
Lay the computer down on its side to make it easier to work on.
4.
On the rear of the computer, remove the screw that secures the slot cover lock in place (1) then, slide
the slot cover lock up and away from the slots to remove it from the computer (2).
To reinstall the slot cover lock, reverse the removal procedure.
