Installing and enabling HP Hotkey Filter
HP Hotkey Filter is available as an add-on at http://www.hp.com/go/hpsc (search for the thin client
model and see the Drivers & software section of the support page for that model).
After HP Hotkey Filter is installed on the system, it must be enabled by using the following procedure:
1. Select Start > Control Panel > HP Hotkey Filter.
TIP: If viewing the Control Panel as categories, select Start > Control Panel > System and
Security > HP Hotkey Filter. You can also configure the Control Panel item in the Start menu to
display as a menu for quick access.
2. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the activation. A series of reboots will be required.
The hotkey filter will be active after a reboot occurs and a standard user logs in.
IMPORTANT: After completing this procedure, be sure to re-enable any components that you were
required to disable.
