2 Known issues and limitations
HP Hotkey Filter is intended for kiosk-style deployments. Standard users should not have access to
the thin client hardware or be able to connect or disconnect peripherals of any kind.
In addition, there are some technical limitations to consider:

HP Hotkey Filter supports both PS/2 and USB keyboards, but only one keyboard can be filtered
at a time.

If a keyboard is disconnected and reconnected to the thin client during the session, then it will
not be filtered.
●
HP Hotkey Filter always filters the Ctrl+Alt+Del sequence, but it can only forward the translated
sequence when the remote desktop client is in the foreground and has the keyboard focus.
●
The Win+L hotkey sequence will only be forwarded if the remote session is full screen.
