1. Swipe down twice from the top edge, and then touch the Settings icon
2. Touch Security, touch Advanced, and then touch Screen pinning.
3. Slide the switch to the right to turn on screen pinning.
Selecting an app to pin
Follow these steps to select an app to pin.
1. Swipe down twice from the top edge, and then touch the Settings, touch Security, touch Advanced,
touch Screen pinning, and then turn on screen pinning.
2. Open the app that you want to pin, swipe up from the bottom of the screen while holding, and then
release.
3. Tap on the app icon and select Pin.
TIP: For security purposes, if you have a screen lock, check the Ask for PIN before unpinning. HP
recommends a screen lock if you allow others to use your tablet.
Unpinning an app
Follow these steps to unpin an app.
1. With the pinned app open, swipe up from the bottom of the screen while holding, and then
release.
2. Swipe up again and unlock your tablet.
NOTE: If you have a PIN, you will be prompted to enter it.
The app is now unpinned.
