Under Wireless and networks, turn on Bluetooth
, and then touch or click Bluetooth .
4. Touch or click your device name to make it visible to all nearby Bluetooth devices.
5. To find available Bluetooth devices, touch or click Search for devices.
6. When the device name appears, touch or click it to pair the device to your device.
NOTE: To maximize battery life, turn off Bluetooth when not in use.
Connecting to a mobile network (select devices only)
If a SIM is not preinstalled, you can purchase one from a mobile wireless carrier. To insert the SIM,
see the
Quick Start
guide or
Setup Instructions

1.
Touch or click the All Apps icon
, and then touch or click the Settings icon .

On a touch screen, swipe down from the top-right edge, and then touch or click the Settings icon
.
2. Under Wireless and networks, touch or click More ..., touch or click Mobile Networks.
3. If your device has multiple SIM slots, select SIM1 or SIM2.
4. Touch or click Access Point Names.
5. Swipe down from the top of the screen, touch or click Select New APN, and then follow the on-
screen instructions.
Activating data transfer (select devices only)
To enable data transfer over a mobile network:
1.
Touch or click the All Apps icon
, and then touch or click the Settings icon .

On a touch screen, swipe down from the top-right edge, and then touch or click the Settings icon
.
2. Under Wireless and networks, touch or click More ..., touch or click Mobile Networks, and then
touch or click Mobile data.
Activating tethering or a portable hotspot (select devices only)
To share your device's mobile data connection through a USB device or as a portable Wi-Fi hotspot:
1.
Touch or click the All Apps icon
, and then touch or click the Settings icon .

On a touch screen, swipe down from the top-right edge, and then touch or click the Settings icon

2. Under Wireless and networks, More ..., and then touch or click Tethering and portable hotspot.
