The current version of Virtual Connect firmware is v2.10. Firmware downgrade is not supported on HP
Virtual Connect 4Gb Fibre Channel Modules (with enhanced NPIV).

Firmware upgrade from single enclosure to multi-enclosure
To upgrade enclosures that will be part of multi-enclosure domain to v2.10, use one of the following
options:
• Use VCSU 1.4.0 to upgrade the enclosures individually to VC 2.10, and then connect them to be
part of a multi-enclosure domain. The first enclosure in a multi-enclosure domain is called the primary
enclosure.
• Install VC 2.10 on the primary enclosure. Create a VC domain and import additional enclosures to
create a multi-enclosure domain. Then use the VC GUI firmware upgrade from the primary enclosure
to upgrade firmware on remote enclosures to 2.10.
