CLB—Connection Load Balancer
The Connection Load Balancer (CLB) directs incoming content to the
most optimal storage service based on a variety of criteria. The CLB
ranks nodes based on several factors such as availability, and system
load. When the most optimal node has been chosen, the CLB estab-
lishes an outgoing connection and forwards the traffic to the chosen
node.
The CLB serves as a connection pipeline between the remote entity
and an LDR for DICOM.
CLB Attributes
The CLB supports the common set of service attributes. These
common service attributes appear on the Overview tab for the service.
