Table 11 Fabric OS 7.0.0b closed defects (continued)
SolutionClosed fixes summary
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.0b.Configured CS_CTL values are no longer valid on write data frames (F_CTL
priority bit disabled) once frames are carried over FCIP links with FastWrite
enabled.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.0b.The CEE command reference guide is missing operands in the "show
running-config" command documentation.
Fabric OS 7.0.0c fixes
Table 12 (page 48) lists defects closed for this release.
Table 12 Fabric OS 7.0.0c closed defects
SolutionClosed fixes summary
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.0c.EX_Port credit loss may go unnoticed due to missing receipt of RAS log
CX-5021 messages in the FCR daemon. This occurs only on non-trunked
EX_Ports and applies to integrated routing on 8 Gbps switches.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.0c.FabricWatch Port Class is not monitoring ICL ports. ICL Ports will not report
any threshold warnings and will not be fenced for Port Class attributes.
Workaround prior to upgrade: Disable
and then enable all ICL ports.
After downgrading from Fabric OS 7.0.0a or 7.0.0b to Fabric OS 6.4.x
on an HP DC SAN Backbone Director or a DC04 SAN Director, a route
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.0c.
rebalance or recalculation will cause some ICL paths to be blocked.
Connectivity between devices is lost after a route change.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.0c.It is not possible to create more than three tunnels with crossport circuit
configuration on an HP DC SAN Director Multiprotocol Extension Blade in
a chassis with multiple HP DC SAN Director Multiprotocol Extension Blades.
Workaround prior to upgrade: Reseating
the QSFP may correct the issue.
ICL Ports on the HP SN8000B SAN Directors may show "Mod_Val" on 1
out of 4 ports on a QSFP. The event log indicates a bad QSFP requiring
reseat or replacement.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.0c.
Workaround prior to upgrade: Refresh,
or close and reopen the Port Admin
window.
QSFP port status is not refreshed in the WebTools port admin window when
it is open at the time of insertion. Insertion/Removal of the QSFP does not
get updated and will not correctly display in an open Port Admin window.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.0c.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.0c.QSFP ICL ports are unexpectedly being fenced due to excessive state
changes being logged while the QSFP was offline/disabled, even though
the current high threshold value is not exceeded during the time the QSFP
was online/enabled.
Workaround prior to upgrade: Disable
and then re-enable the port.
IPSec circuits may get stuck in an “in-progress” state and never come online
in an IPSec configuration between an HP DC SAN Director Multiprotocol
Extension Blade and an HP 1606 SAN Extension Switch.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.0c.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.0c.The FruReplace CLI command in Fabric OS has been deprecated beginning
with Fabric OS 7.0.0. However, if the command is attempted while
performing replacement of a defective WWN card it will result in a potential
failed transfer and can lead to the replacement WWN card also being
unusable.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.0c.There is a host discovery issue from edge to edge with VE in a backbone
fabric if EX_Ports are on ports 0-3 of an HP DC SAN Director Multiprotocol
Extension Blade in slot 7 of an HP StorageWorks DC04 SAN Director
Switch. In this configuration, hosts will be unable to discover targets across
the FCIP backbone fabric.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.0c.In FICON environments, emulated FICON Tape Read Channel Program
can grow too large, resulting in FICON protocol timeouts and aborts.
