HP B-series Fabric OS 7.0.2d Release Notes (5697-2822, August 2013--includes all 7.0.x versions)

Table 12 Fabric OS 7.0.0c closed defects (continued)
SolutionClosed fixes summary
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.0c.The WebTools Extended Fabric sub tab incorrectly displays the port speed
as 0 for ports configured as N16 for all 16 Gbps switches. This is a display
problem only and does not affect operation of the switches.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.0c.The diagshow diagnostic command displays incorrect speed values for
ports on the HP DC SAN Director 10/24 FCoE Blade by displaying the
back end 4 Gbps ports rather than the expected front end 10 Gbps ports.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.0c.Detection of a stuck Virtual Channel may be intermittently delayed by several
minutes to more than an hour, but will eventually be detected.
Fabric OS 7.0.1 fixes
Table 13 (page 49) lists the defects closed for this release.

SolutionClosed fixes summary
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.1.In an IP over FC configuration, HA Failover or HA Reboot may occur over
time when running IPFC Broadcast with multi-frames in sequence.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.1.In Fabric OS 6.3.2c and 6.4.0a or later, unstable links may overload the
CPU. This may occur on 4 Gbps Directors.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.1.The SNMP FA-MIB, ConnUnitLinkTable does not return all the VE (FCIP)
ISL link information.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.1.When a non-decryptable DF mode tape is processed by the encryption
switch, it may cause a DECRYPT_DECOMPRESS timeout/failure. In some
instances this may cause other tape jobs to fail, or more seriously, may
cause the HP StorageWorks Encryption SAN Switch or the HP StorageWorks
DC Switch Encryption FC Blade to fault, which will cause all tape jobs to
abort.
Workaround prior to upgrade: Remove
stale configurations.
Binding may not properly be enforced and devices may not get properly
imported/exported if LSAN Binding is added to a Fibre Channel Routing
configuration with Speed Tags already defined
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.1.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.1.If a tape device is improperly identified as a disk device, the HP
StorageWorks Encryption SAN Switch may hang or become faulty and
may cause all tape backup operations to stop. The following error message
may be displayed : [CVLC-1009], ... Wrong device type:
should be tape, found disk.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.1.A device may not be accessible after FCIP links have bounced multiple times
in a Fibre Channel Backbone fabric because the Fibre Channel Router is
not properly translating all SID/DIDs. Frames with the same SID/DID were
sent to the device after a proxy translation failed in a backbone to edge
FCR configuration.

slotpoweroff/slotpoweron on the
encryption blade E_Port.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.1.
Workaround prior to upgrade: Disable
QoS on the Fabric switch for the impacted
link.
Access Gateway N_Port may get stuck in G_Port after a firmware upgrade
with QoS enabled on an attached Fabric switch.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.1.
