Table 13 Fabric OS 7.0.1 closed defects (continued)
SolutionClosed fixes summary
Workaround prior to upgrade: Refresh,
or close and then re-open the Port Admin
window.
QSFP port status is not refreshed in the WebTools port admin window when
it is open at the time of insertion. Insertion/Removal of the QSFP does not
get updated and does not correctly display in an open Port Admin window.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.1.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.1.QSFP ICL ports are unexpectedly being fenced due to excessive state
changes being logged while the QFSP is offline/disabled, even though the
current high threshold value is not exceeded during the time the QSFP was
online/enabled.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.1.The FruReplace CLI command in Fabric OS has been deprecated
beginning with Fabric OS 7.0.0. However, if the command is attempted
while performing replacement of a defective WWN card, it results in a
potential failed transfer and can lead to the replacement WWN card also
being unusable.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.1.In FICON environments, emulated FICON Tape Read Channel Program
can grow too large, resulting in FICON protocol timeouts and aborts.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.1.An 8 Gbps capable port may not be able to synchronize, and may be
unable to recover by performing portdisable/portenable when the
port is configured at a fixed 4 Gbps or 8 Gbps speed and the remote switch
is configured as auto negotiate with only 1 port connected. This can occur
after a switch reboot or slotpoweroff/slotpoweron is executed.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.1.Network scanning applications may cause high CPU utilization by the CNM
daemon. Possible module timeouts may be seen during processing of
intensive actions such as SupportSave.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.1.Panic and reboot may occur on a switch running Fabric OS 6.4.2 due to
a Linux kernel bug.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.1.After a reboot, Access Gateway F_Ports are stuck in F_Port Disabled state
(N_Port Offline for F_Port) and generate raslog reports: [AG-1005], FDISC
response was dropped.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.1.The system verification process fails on the HP 1606 SAN Extension Switch.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.1.The CEE port diagnostic tests (ceeportloopbacktest and
ceeportledtest diagnostics) cannot be used on the HP 2408 24-10GbE
FCoE Switch because they do not properly process all parameters.
Workaround prior to upgrade: Use a
qualified version of MMB.
The Brocade 8 Gbps SAN Switch for HP BladeSystem c-Class may crash
when using the version of MMB, the Enclosure Management Software
implementing the new ISMIC block, which was not supported.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.1.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.1.The host is unable to access the target when a specific storage device is
connected to a 4 Gbps switch because the switch sends an ELP to the storage
device after the device sends an FLOGI during the power-up sequence.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.1.On Fibre Channel Integrated Routing platforms, the switch nsinfo.html
may not be updated to reflect items that have been removed from an LSAN
zone.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.1.End users may be unable to re-start a TPERF session until all disabled GigE
ports on the tunnel are re-enabled. This may occur if a user diables GigE
ports on a test tunnel while a TPERF session is in progress and the TPERF
session is subsequently terminated. Further, if the user attempts to re-start
TPERF, a message indicating that a TPERF session is already in progress is
output.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.1.An enhancement was made to the backend credit loss detection and
recovery, adding user configuration options to generate link reset, port
re-init, and blade fault upon detection of backend credit loss. In previous
