Table 15 Fabric OS 7.0.1b closed defects (continued)
SolutionClosed fixes summary
the fan should flash green when it is stopped or detected as faulty, but
instead shows no light on this switch.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.1b.On Fabric OS 7.0.1, supoportsave does not contain portshow
fciptunnel output on for an HP Multi-protocol Router Blade.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.1b.The weblinker file descriptor on a CEE platform may leak when monitored
by Network Advisor. This is manifested by asserts and weblinker termination
and restarts, but is non-disruptive to traffic.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.1b.The weblinker file descriptor on a CEE platform may leak when monitored
by an HP 2408 FCoE Switch.

Table 16 (page 57) lists the defects closed for this release.
Table 16 Fabric OS 7.0.2 closed defects
SolutionClosed fixes summary
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.2.The kernel watchdog timer may expire, causing a switch panic on the HP
8/40 and 8/80 SAN Switches.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.2.If there are more than 50 link down events when a switch is operational
for a long period of time before being rebooted, the port faults and a
PORT-1003 message is reported in the RASLOG
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.2.Devices are unable to communicate properly when booting up a third-party
virtualization platform connected via Access Gateway. This occurs only
when the device performs an FDISC followed by FLOGO for the same
device PWWN. This is due to the FDISC ACC not being properly translated
on Access Gateway.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.2.An HA Failover on the HP 4/256 SAN Director with HP 16-port, 32-port
or 48-port 8 Gbps FC blades installed may encounter a rare race condition
and a reset of the port blades may result, causing temporary traffic
disruption.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.2.When XISL use is disabled in Virtual Fabrics, a condition may occur that
can trigger a route problem.
Workaround prior to upgrade: Reset the
questionable port.
Customers may see multiple problems with I/O because the port is
negotiating to a 16 Gbps speed even though the optic is capable only of
a maximum 8 Gbps speed.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.2.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.2.After failure of a CR8 blade in an HP DC SAN Director, the I/O is
persistently interrupted.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.2.On the higher port 16 Gbps SAN Directors, unconnected ports randomly
go into a disabled state after an HA Failover occurs.
Workaround prior to upgrade: Perform
the Telnet or SSH from the same subnet
or connect through the console.
Executing CMSH through Telnet or SSH may cause a switch panic on an
HP 2408 FCoE Switch. This problem does not occur when connecting
through the console, and then executing CMSH.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.2.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.2.There is missing SNMP display information with swIPv6ChangeTrap.
This is a display problem only, with no functional impact.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.2.Access Gateway details are not present if one of the Access Gateways is
not registered correctly. Switches become unmanageable through either
DCFM or Network Advisor when attempting to fix the issue; the affected
switches remain installed and operational, but cannot be discovered.
