HP B-series Fabric OS 7.0.2d Release Notes (5697-2822, August 2013--includes all 7.0.x versions)

Table 16 Fabric OS 7.0.2 closed defects (continued)
SolutionClosed fixes summary
the bandwidth is not the same as the other trunked link causing I/O
disruption.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.2.The error message Unknown key name or insufficient
permissions is visible periodically on the SKM log.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.2.During core blade replacement, a race condition occurred causing a CP
panic and HA Failover.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.2.The perfhelp command output does not include information on the
fmconfig command.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.2.Vulnerability scanning tools may report the presence of CVE-2009-3245
when running Fabric OS 7.0.0b (and earlier releases that use OpenSSL
0.9.8d). Fabric OS does not have a direct interface to expose this
vulnerability.
Workaround prior to upgrade: Avoid
running the nsaliasshow command.
Switch management is hindered and the application gets shmInit:
shmget failed: No space left on device. This is caused by
shared memory segments being used up by the name server.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.2.
Workaround prior to upgrade: Perform a
proper reboot of the switch (not an HA
Reboot).
Access Gateway may not display in agshow and F_Ports are unable to log
in, caused by N_Ports on Access Gateway not receiving responses after
an HA Reboot.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.2.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.2.Missing blocks on tapes occur when tape pipelining is enabled.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.2.There is a slight FCIP tunnel performance drop from Fabric OS 6.4.x to
Fabric OS 7.x when running small I/O throughput.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.2.Downgrade from Fabric OS 7.0.x to 6.4.x leads to F_Port connectivity loss.
Recovery from this condition requires a switch power cycle.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.2.A POST failure occurs with a misleading test name on the 16 Gbps blade.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.2.The tape application fails with an MIH error. This occurs when FICON
Selective resets during a sort tape job with large channel programs when
running through FICON to ESCON converter and FCIP FICON Tape
Pipelining.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.2.The switch reports a duplicate WWN and panics. This occurs because the
device does a re-FLOGI with a different WWN, causing a stale entry in the
Flogin DataBase.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.2.A switch panic occurs upon detecting an SRAM parity error on an HP 400
Multi-protocol Router and HP B-series Multi-protocol Router Blade.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.2.The error messages C2-1006 and C2-1010 are reported. These are
associated with good EOF CRC errors involving SERDES tuning for the HP
DC Switch Encryption FC Blade inserted in slot 12 of an HP DC SAN
Director and an HP 16-port 8 Gbps FC Blade inserted in slots 1,2, and 7
of an HP DC04 SAN Director.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.2.A DP Panic occurs when FICON Printer Emulation is enabled on 3900 type
printers.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.2.When there is an FID conflict, only one Ex_Port in a trunk is disabled, leaving
the other ports in an inconsistent state.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.2.The Fabric OS Nameserver returns an incorrect value for GFF_ID (0x01F),
affecting the ability to quickly establish the session with Initiators.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.2.There was an update to an OEM specific OUI name, having no impact to
functionality.
