Table 16 Fabric OS 7.0.2 closed defects (continued)
SolutionClosed fixes summary
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.2.Replication application errors occur after upgrading from Fabric OS
6.4.1_fcoe to Fabric OS 7.0.x with FCIP emulation.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.2.In NPIV setup, we are unable to get valid data to run perfttmon.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.2.The server lost access to devices when an internal CU port connected to an
HBA turned into a G_Port.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.2.A switch panic occurred during a zone rename; this was done by adding
a new zone name in the list and then removing the old zone name.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.2.A FICON keep alive timeout occurs on an HP 1606 SAN Extension Switch
if there is not enough bandwidth on the FCIP tunnel.
Workaround prior to upgrade: To avoid
this problem, perform an HA failover after
the firmware is completely upgraded.
A zoned panic occurs after an upgrade from Fabric OS 6.3.x to 6.4.x in
IM2/IM3 mode, when a remote domain goes out of fabric.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.2.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.2.After changing F_Port buffers via WebTools on an HP 1606 SAN Extension
Switch, the buffers cannot be set back to 8 (default). The following error
message is output: Error when performing specified action
for port 1 - F_Port BB credits with value less than 9
is not allowed.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.2.A switch panic occurs when a user enters an index range with a larger
value than is actually present with the portname -i -f command.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.2.VeriSign Code Signing Certificate update was required for WebTools. Prior
to the update, WebTools were considered to be an UN-trusted application
to the user. After the update, when WebTools are launch for the first time
with the updated certificate, a warning dialog is displayed. The user can
verify the certificate details (Issuer/Validity/Subject) by clicking More
information in the dialog box. After the user selects the checkbox Always
trust content…. and clicks the Run button, the warning message does not
display in further logins, since it is considered now to be a trusted
application.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.2.FICON Emulation is not handling IU pacing updates properly. There are
application failures and aborts in the fabric with an HP 400 Multi-protocol
Router.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.2.In Fabric OS 7.0 and later, the switch name server request RFT_ID is
rejected with 0x05 (Logical Busy) for several NPIV ports, and the host is
unable to see the device if it does not retry the request.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.2.The HP SN6000B 16 Gbps FC Switch portledtest command does not
function as described in the documentation.
Workaround prior to upgrade: Use port
indexes 239-254.
The device does not fail over to its alternate port if that alternate port is on
the upper part of the HP 64-port 8 Gbps FC Blade, such as port indexes
868 to 884.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.2.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.2.Failures occur when running portledtest -npass 10, and
portloopbacktest -lb_mode 1 test diagnostic commands.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.2.SNMP crashed and generated a core file twice, then failed to restart, and
SNMP no longer functioned on a switch.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.2.New capability included so that users can now set bottleneck alerts for
either congestion or latency in addition to be able to set both.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.2.Failures occur on multivolume tape drive jobs on the HP 400 Multi-protocol
Router and the HP B-series Multi-protocol Router Blade.
