Table 18 Fabric OS 7.0.2b closed defects
SolutionClosed fixes summary
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.2b.Customers are unable to recover F_Ports in a Virtual Fabric because F_Ports
do not receive an Flogi accept in LS-fid96, possibly due to a missing
config file in the configdb. Ports continually bounce.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.2b.An FCIP Tunnel bounce occurs due to a chip reset on the HP Multiprotocol
Extension Blade.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.2b.Stale AG entries remain in the management server database after the
removal of AG.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.2b.EE monitors with duplicate PID/SID on the same ASIC do not function
properly in a VF environment. The EE monitor counters do not increment as
expected.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.2b.The portloopbacktest command always uses 16 Gb mode when
executed on an HP SN6000B 16Gb FC Switch/HP SN3000B 16Gb FC
Switch, regardless of the port speed specified.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.2b.On a busy switch, Fabric Watch erroneously reports a build fabric
event.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.2b.After adding initiator to target container is performed, executing the
cryptocfg --commit command results in the failure: Operation
succeeded. Commit operation completed successfully,
Redirect zone update failed. Please retry commit
operation. Additional attempts at commit do not result in redirect zone
creation success and the container remains offline.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.2b.An HA Failover, HA Reboot or firmwaredownload may cause unused
ports with an ASIC register to be zeroed out. Credit is permanently lost and
a busy buffer condition on the port occurs.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.2b.Duplicate Alpa error messages are seen on Access Gateway when an
LPAR move is executed. This move reassigns virtual WWPNs to another
physical host.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.2b.CRC with good EOF errors occur on an HP DC SAN Backbone Director
with an HP StorageWorks SAN Director 48-port 8 Gb FC Blade inserted
in slot 3.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.2b.Backend CRC with good EOF errors occur on core blade port 3/56
connecting an HP StorageWorks SAN Director 32-port 8 Gb FC Blade in
an HP DC04 SAN Director.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.2b.The fabric watch daemon (fwd) triggered a switch panic after a monitor of
a particular frame type is installed to a larger number of ports.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.2b.A port connected to a third party DWDM goes into no module mode
during DWDM failover.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.2b.The HBA on a Brocade 5460 embedded switch port does not login correctly
after the host is rebooted. The switch port must be disabled/enabled after
the host is fully booted to support a successful HBA login.
Workaround prior to upgrade: Delete the
csr file in /etc/fabos/certs/sw0
and then reboot the switch.
Loading a configuration with an invalid SSL certificate entry may cause the
switch to reboot repeatedly.
Fixed in Fabric OS 7.0.2b.
Workaround prior to upgrade: Specify
usernames less than 15 characters.
Specifying 32-character usernames in snmpconfig causes unexpected
termination of snmpd and a rolling reboot.
