About User Privileges

Fault Management Allows you to control
access to the SNMP Trap
Registration and
Forwarding dialog box,
the Event Storage option
of the Options dialog box,
the Syslog Registration
and Forwarding dialog
box, as well as the Export
and Clear functions in the
Event Log dialog box and
the Show and Hide
functions in the
Customize Columns
dialog box.
Disables the SNMP Trap
and Syslog configuration
commands from the
Monitor menu.
Disables the Event
Storage option on the
Options dialog box.
If you do not have other
read/write privileges to
Options dialog box
functions, disables the
SAN > Options command.
Enables the Logs >
<Log_Type> from the
Monitor menu.
Enables the SNMP Trap
and Syslog configuration,
commands from the
Monitor menu.
Enables the Event
Storage option on the
Options dialog box.
Enables the SAN >
Options command.
Only enables the Cancel
function for the dialog
boxes.
Enables the Logs >
<Log_Type> from the
Monitor menu.
