ANALOG MODEM BACKUP MODULE COMMANDS
alias <text>
Comment line to provide the text name assigned by the SNMP network
management system.
caller-id override [always <number> | if-no-CID <number>]
Configures the unit to replace caller ID information with a user-specified
number. Use the no form of this command to disable any caller ID overrides.
always <number> Always forces replacement of the incoming
caller ID number with the number given.
if-no-CID <number> Always forces replacement of the incoming
caller ID number with the number given.
description <text>
Comment line to provide an identifier for this interface (for example, circuit
ID, contact information, etc.).
<text> Shows up to 80 alphanumeric characters.
dialin
Enables the modem for remote console dial-in access, disabling the use of
the modem for backup.
init-string <string>
Specifies an initialization string for the modem using standard AT
commands. Use the no form of this command to return to the default
initialization string.
<string> Initialization string using standard AT
commands. This string must start with AT and
cannot contain spaces. The default string is
ATE0Q0V1X4\N0.
shutdown
Disables the interface (both physical and virtual) so that no data will be
passed through. Use the no form of this command to turn on the interface
and allow it to pass data. By default, all interfaces are disabled.
