1 Introduction The HP 3PAR Service Processor Software 2.4.x Release Notes document is cumulative and includes subsequent updates relating to the base release of Service Processor Software 2.4.1. This document should be read prior to the installation of the SP 2.4.x Software. 3 Service Processor Software 2.4.1 Release The following release notes are for the Service Processor Software 2.4.1 release of the HP 3PAR Service Processor (SP). What’s New in the Service Processor This release includes: • Secure Network Mode - Allows secure service communication between the Service Processor (SP) and HP 3PAR Central, enabling secure diagnostic data transmission and remote service connections. The remote operations feature may not be compatible for all systems.
Modifications to the Service Processor The following issues have been addressed in this release: Bug ID Item Description 50404 showvv -snapspace gathered for VV events in 2.3.1 This option is no longer supported in 2.3.1 and has been removed from the relevant event gathering processes on 2.3.1 systems. 51693 Request statvlun -ni -hostsum This data is now routinely retrieved as part of the perform file and sent back data be added to the perform file to HP 3PAR.
