Linux Device Mapper multipathing
When you use the Linux Device Mapper Multipath software with XP Cluster Extension, device read/write
permission changes are not dynamically detected by the operating system. For a workaround, see

Guide.

Prerequisites
After you install a permanent license key on a cluster node, make sure the instant-on license is re-
moved. For instructions, see Removing an instant-on license key in the HP StorageWorks XP

Coexistence of EVA Cluster Extension and XP Cluster Extension on the same system is not supported.
