Version: 3.00.00 Description This package contains HP StorageWorks EVA Cluster Extension Software for Linux. EVA Cluster Extension enables write access to remote data copies when local systems fail. This allows application service recovery even in the worst disaster. EVA Cluster Extension works only with HP StorageWorks EVA disk arrays.
Cluster software EVA Cluster Extension is supported with the following cluster software: • SUSE Linux Enterprise High Availability Extension (heartbeat and pacemaker) • Red Hat Cluster Suite Linux Device Mapper multipathing When you use the Linux Device Mapper Multipath software with EVA Cluster Extension, device read/write permission changes are not dynamically detected by the operating system.
Compatibility/Interoperability • There is no Linux upgrade support for this release because this release discontinues HP Serviceguard support and adds SUSE Linux High Availability Extension and Red Hat Cluster Suite support. • For applicable versions and other compatibility details, see the HP SPOCK website: http:// www.hp.com/storage/spock.
