Online Upgrade Considerations
CAUTION: SP-2.5.1.GA-xx P005 is a mandatory prerequisite Service Processor patch required
when upgrading from 3.1.1 GA to 3.1.1 MU1.
This feature allows the upgrade of the InForm OS concurrently with I/O activity on the attached
hosts, provided certain conditions are met. For further information and pre-planning of Rolling

What's New in the InForm OS
HP 3PAR InForm Operating System 3.1.1 provides driver and firmware support for the 10G iSCSI
CNA on the HP P10000 3PAR Storage System and CIM Server changes to view information on
the 10G iSCSI CNA. This release also recognizes the Common Criteria standard of security. The
Common Criteria are internationally well-recognized standards for the evaluation of products
incorporating security functionality. This release provides new features to secure ports under the
Common Criteria standard.
SMI-S Remote Replication Support
HP 3PAR InForm Operating System Software 3.1.1 enables SMI-S read-only support for Remote
Copy based on the remote replication portion of the SMI-S v1.4 Replication Services Profile.
