RCFC Link Issues When Using FCIP Gateways on InForm OS 3.1.1 (Bug 62647)

The RCFC link down and retransmission thresholds were tuned to support 8Gbps FC links in 3.1.1.

These new values may cause the links to occasionally go down and up when an FCIP gateway is

used as part of the RCFC network.

Workaround: None.

iSCSI Header Digest errors (66528)

Under certain conditions the QLogic CNA firmware may calculate iSCSI Header Digest incorrectly,

which results in intermittent loss of connectivity (seen as Header Digest errors by the host).

Workaround: As a workaround for this issue, Header Digest should not be enabled on the host.

Rare chance of stuck VV block due to missing events (72649)

A VV block can get stuck due to missing events.

Workaround: As a workaround for this issue, contact HP 3PAR support to restart System Manager.

Error messages when performing an offline InForm OS upgrade (74197)

There are error messages when performing an offline InForm OS upgrade from 3.1.1.392 (MU1)

to 3.1.1.410 (MU2).

Workaround: Wait for 30 minutes.

When Windows 2012 is rebooted for the first time after an HP 3PAR OS upgrade

to 3.1.1, Windows 2012 will mark the HP 3PAR LUNs offline

A change in the Product Revision level field affects Windows 2012 adversely, if the host is rebooted

after an upgrade to HP 3PAR OS version 3.1.1 or any upgrade within the 3.1.1 family (MUs).

Workaround: The administrator must change the OS SAN Policy from Offline Shared to OnlineAll

using the diskpart.exe command. The SAN Policy on the Windows 2012 must be changed

before Windows 2012 is rebooted. It can be changed either before or after the HP 3PAR OS

upgrade.
