Veritas Cluster Server
HP 3PAR supports use with Veritas Cluster Server.
There are no special setup considerations for the HP 3PAR StoreServ Storage.

CAUTION: Make sure Device-mapper is disabled if using the Veritas DMP for multipathing
software.
Veritas Commands
This appendix provides information on some common Veritas Volume Manager commands used
to configure VxDMP.
CAUTION: Commands may vary with each version of Veritas Storage foundation. Always refer
to the version release notes.
You can use the following Veritas Volume Manager commands to perform common storage
administration tasks:
Enable VxVM and discover new disks:
# vxdctl enable
Display disks:
# vxdisk list
Display disk groups:
# vxdg list
To scan for disks:
# vxdisk scandisks
To format/initialize VxVm disks:
# vxdiskadm (and select option 1 from the menu)
To get a list of controllers:
# vxdmpadm listctlr all
