NOTE: • The persistent ports feature helps to ensure that connectivity is not lost as nodes are rebooted during the online upgrade process. HP recommends that this feature be configured. • If the persistent ports feature is not configured correctly and you are performing an online update, you will need to compare your host configuration to the supported configurations that are listed on the Single Point of Connectivity Knowledge (SPOCK)for HP Storage Products website at:http://www.hp.com/storage/spock.
13 Known Issues A VV in an AO configuration might occasionally display incorrect RAID type and device type information (Issue ID 80428) A VV which is split between tiers by Adaptive Optimization (AO) might show the wrong RAID type and device type (SSD, FC, NL) information. This is a display issue and does not affect the primary tier CPG from which new VV growth is taken. This might also occur if the setcpg command is used to change the primary CPG of a VV in an AO config.
If a StoreServ is subsequently downgraded to an earlier release such as 3.1.2, the 3.1.3 filesystem is moved to an alternate boot path on the local node drive while the primary path is installed with the target version. This allows the StoreServ to be reverted to the 3.1.3 release, if desired. Because this alternate filesystem is visible to the 3.1.2 monitoring software, the checkhealth warnings (Filesystem is over 80% full) and service alerts (Free node disk space) are triggered.
