1.4 Known Issues with the HP 3PAR Management Console
1.4.1 Peer Motion Migration of a Physical Copy Still in Progress Will Fail (Bug 79124)
If creation of a physical copy is in progress when you attempt a Peer Motion migration, the Peer Motion
migration will fail.
Workaround:
Wait until the physical copy task has completed and try the migration again.
1.4.2 Cage Upgrades Can Cause an Exception (Bug 79294)
When you upgrade a cage, the Management Console might throw an exception.
Workaround:
Close the Management Console while you are upgrading a cage.
1.4.3 Converting Existing Remote Copy 1-to-1 Configurations to Synchronous Long
Distance (SLD) Not Supported (Bug 48421)
The Management Console currently does not support conversion of an existing Remote Copy 1-to-1
configuration to a Synchronous Long Distance configuration. Providing this conversion will be addressed
in a future release.
Workaround:
Use HP 3PAR OS CLI commands to convert a 1-to-1 configuration to a Synchronous Long Distance
configuration.
