1.1 Introduction This document provides the release notes for HP 3PAR SmartStart 1.1.1 Software. HP 3PAR SmartStart is a single startup tool that enables effortless setup of the HP 3PAR StoreServ 7000 Storage system. SmartStart guides you through configuring all the required components for starting up the HP 3PAR StoreServ 7000 Storage platform. 1.4 Known Issues with HP 3PAR SmartStart 1.4.1 Date changes to “NaN undefined, NaN” when Back button is clicked in the Service Processor Setup Wizard (Bug 85736) On the Time and Region page of the Service Processor Setup Wizard, if you click the Back button after setting the date and time and before applying the settings, the date box is set to NaN undefined, NaN. Workaround: Reset the date to the correct date and time before continuing to prevent unknown side effects. 1.4.

In addition, SmartStart might not be able to scan new disks or complete some host configuration steps if multiple users are using SmartStart to configure the same host or add virtual volumes to Windows at the same time. Workarounds: • Only use one instance of SmartStart at a time to connect to a host. • Delete the temporary directory on the host you are configuring (c:\Users\Public\ tmpSmartStart..) and try the task again.
