◦ Defining a custom rule using a custom naming format
Use this option to match names that do not follow the standard format. Up to three
wildcard symbols * can be used to match any number of characters. For example:

Matches any string with the string music in it. For example:*music*
– rock_music
– music_2
– my_music_rock
Matches any string starting with the string my and then containing the
string computer. For example:
my*computer*
– my_computer
– my_computer_2
– my_cComputer_laptop
Matches any string ending with tcp.*tcp
12. Select Add. The rule gets added to the Rules box. You can define up to 10 rules.
13. Select Save when done.
Assigning filter profile
Assigning a filter profile to an AP or group
1. To assign a profile to a group, select Controlled APs >> Configuration > Bonjour.

To assign a profile to an AP, select Controlled APs [group] [AP] >> Configuration > Bonjour.

In either case the same configuration page is displayed.
2. Under Bonjour announcements filtering, select an inbound and/or outbound profile.
3. Select Save.
Assigning a filter profile to a VSC
1. For a new VSC, select VSCs >> Overview > VSC profiles > Add New VSC Profile.
For an existing VSC, select its name in the VSC list, or in the Network Tree.
2. Under Bonjour traffic filtering, select an inbound and/or outbound profile.
3. Select Save.
