Assigning a filter profile to a user via RADIUS
Two RADIUS VSAs (vendor-specific attributes) have been created to allow administrators to specify
the names of the inbound and outbound Bonjour profiles to use in a user’s RADIUS account.
hp-bonjour-inbound-profile
This attribute is used to set the filter profile to use for inbound Bonjour announcements.
You may need to define this attribute on your RADIUS server (if it is not already present) using
the following values:
• SMI network management private enterprise code = 8744
• Vendor-specific attribute type number = 66
• Attribute type = string specifying the name of an existing Bonjour filtering profile.
hp-bonjour-outbound-profile
This attribute is used to set the filter profile to use for outbound Bonjour announcements.
You may need to define this attribute on your RADIUS server (if it is not already present) using
the following values:
• SMI network management private enterprise code = 8744
• Vendor-specific attribute type number = 67
• Attribute type = string specifying the name of an existing Bonjour filtering profile.
