MSM3xx, MSM4xx, HP 425, and HP 517 APs Release Notes v6.4.0.0

These OIDs are missing from the SNMP MIBs:
colubris802dot11: 1.3.6.1.4.1.8744.5.
colubrisVirtualApMIB: 1.3.6.1.4.1.8744.5.1
(Applies to MSM access points in autonomous mode.) In rare cases, the radio might default to
USA country settings, which could result in operation on unauthorized channels in the 5 GHz
band and the loss of the use of channels 12 and 13 in the 2.4 GHz band.
When an MSM466-R AP is provisioned for local mesh, the AP might not inherit the correct radio
selection. As a result, on the next reboot, the local mesh will not connect and the synchronization
between a Master and Slave APs will never occur.
After an upgrade, APs may become unsynchronized and not resynchronize when Automatic
Power Control for APs is enabled.
An MSM466-R (IL) (J9718A) unit fails to synchronize to a controller after upgrading to version
6.x due to a VSC being bound to Radio 1.
(Applies to MSM410, MSM430, MSM460, MSM466, MSM466-R.) AP can unexpectedly reboot.
SOAP command is not available for a local mesh interface to be mapped to a VLAN.
After a software upgrade, an AP might drop packets from the user VLAN over the AP tagged
management VLAN.
When configuring a VSC, if the wireless protection key source is changed to use PSK, the Station
ID delimiter and Station ID MAC case configuration fields disappear from the management tool.
When configuring a VSC using SOAP, if the wireless protection key source is set to use PSK, it
is not possible to set the Station ID delimiter or the Station ID MAC.
(Applies to MSM410, MSM430, MSM460, MSM466, MSM466-R.) When run on autonomous
APs, the CLI show all config command generates the following error message:
assert: Make sure that you are using this function with indexed subsection
and that the maximum number of subsections is defined in tokens.xml (struct-type=27)
assert: cfg.c ReadNextCfgWithPath 353 (maxNumSubSections > 0).
(Applies to MSM410, MSM430, MSM460, MSM466, MSM466-R in controlled and autonomous
mode, and the HP 425 in controlled mode.) When switching an AP from the Local Mesh or AP +
Local Mesh modes to another mode, the background scan necessary for the RRM feature is not
automatically restarted.
(Applies to MSM410, MSM430, MSM460, MSM466, MSM466-R.) When an AP is using local
mesh and is then moved to another switch port, the AP might fail to synchronize with the controller.
Known issues
These issues are present in this release:
(Applies to HP 517.) sFlow is not supported on the HP 517.
(Applies to HP 425.) If a radio is configured to operate in monitor mode, the dwell time should
be configured to a value of 200 ms or greater. With smaller dwell time values, too much CPU
time is devoted to the monitor activity, and this can impact traffic handling on the other radio.
(Applies to HP 425.) The user interface allows the maximum radio power in the 5 GHz band to
be set higher than the regulatory maximum. This is a user interface validation issue only, because
regardless of the user interface setting, radio power is limited to the regulatory-mandated legal
maximum.
