NOTE:
Since the controller is not in the data path of non-access-controlled wireless clients, an external
router must provide the data path to any Bonjour services on another network. Otherwise,
wireless clients will see service announcements from devices that they are not able to reach.
(The Bonjour gateway on the controller will relay Bonjour traffic between subnets, but it will
not relay data traffic from client stations clients. A router needs to be configured to do this (as
shown in the previous diagram).
Non-access-controlled wireless clients can advertise services via Bonjour.
Non-access-controlled wireless clients can discover Bonjour services on the subnet used by an
AP to establish its control channel with a controller.
Configuring Bonjour gateway
Do the following to enable and configure Bonjour gateway on a controller:
1. Select Controller >> Network > Bonjour. The Bonjour configuration page opens.
2. In the Gateway box:
Select the checkbox Enable Bonjour gateway on the selected interfaces.
Assign one or more interfaces to the gateway. The Available interfaces list shows all IP
interfaces that can be assigned to the gateway. For an IP interface to appear in the list
