MSM7xx Controllers Configuration Guide v6.4.0

1. Select Controller >> Network > Bonjour. The Bonjour configuration page opens.
2. Enable and configure the gateway described in the section “Configuring Bonjour gateway”
(page 234).
3. In the Traffic management box, enable Bonjour traffic management as follows:
All access-controlled VSCs: Select this option to enable traffic management on all
access-controlled VSCs that are defined on the controller and are bound to any APs.
Traffic management cannot be selectively enabled on individual APs or AP groups. It is
either on for all access-controlled VSCs or off. (Note that Bonjour announcements
originating from wireless clients on access-controlled VSCs are discarded. This means
that it is not possible to have an access-controlled wireless client advertise services via
Bonjour.)
All non-access-controlled VSCs on the APs in the group: Select the AP group on which
you want to enable traffic management, and then select Apply. To enable traffic
management on more than one group, select each group in turn and click Apply.
If you want to enable traffic management for an individual AP, select Controlled APs in
the Network Tree, select the AP, and then select Configuration > Bonjour.
4. Select Save.
Bonjour traffic filtering
Traffic filters enable you to manage Bonjour announcements at the VSC, user, or AP level, letting
you control which Bonjour services wireless clients are able to see and/or advertise. Filtering
applies only to Bonjour announcements. Bonjour queries are not filtered.
