Documentation Updates
1. The online help incorrectly states that the following features are supported:
Auto, point-to-point (P2P), and loop topology modes
Arbitrated loop physical address (ALPA) configuration settings
The documentation has been updated to indicate that only the P2P topology
mode is supported and ALPA configuration is not supported. Since the online
help cannot be regenerated until the next adapter release, please disregard the
incorrect information in the online help. “The information in the Brocade
Adapters Administrator’s Guide, PN 53-1001587-03, is correct.
2. The online help does not include the “Disabling trunking” which is up-to-date in
the chapter 3, “Host Configuration” section of the Brocade Adapter
Administrator’s Guide.
3. In Table 11 in the Specifications chapter of the Brocade Adapters Installation and
Reference Manual, LED operation for an unsupported SFP should be the
following:
Lnk Flashing amber
Act Off
Storage Off
4. The following publications released for v2.3.0.0 list support for WinPE 2.X. In
fact, WinPE 3.0 is supported for this release.

5. In FC Trunking section of Chapter 3 of the Brocade Adapter Administrator’s
Guide v2.3.0.0 update the content as follows :
a) Enabling Trunk
Step-1 - On switch side:
Configure both ports for trunking using “portcfgtrunkport
Disable the ports to be used for trunking using “portdisable
Enable the trunk on the two ports using “porttrunkarea
Step-2 - On the host side:
Configure trunking using “bcu trunk enable
Step-3 - On the switch side:
Enable the ports to be used for trunking using “portenable
